Information you send us
If you use the contact form, call, or email, we receive what you choose to provide: your name, email address, phone number, country of residence, a description of your situation, and any documents you attach. We use this information to evaluate whether we can help you, to respond, and — if you engage the firm — to represent you.
Communications with a lawyer for the purpose of seeking legal advice are treated as confidential from the first message, whether or not the firm ultimately represents you.
Information collected automatically
This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and performance. We do not run advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or third-party scripts, and we set no cookies of our own. The site’s clock feature reads your device’s time zone in your browser only; that information is never sent to us.
How messages travel
Contact-form submissions are delivered to the firm by email through a transactional email provider, and a confirmation copy is sent to the address you give us. Email is not a fully secure medium; if you prefer, call us and we will arrange a secure way to exchange documents.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the firm except as needed to represent you (for example, co-counsel, experts, or FINRA), with your consent, or as required by law or the rules of professional conduct.
Retention and your choices
Inquiries that do not become matters are kept for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and to check for conflicts of interest, then deleted. Client files are retained as required by Alabama’s rules of professional conduct. You may ask us at any time what we hold about you, or ask us to delete an inquiry that did not become a matter.
Readers outside the United States
Information you send is processed in the United States. By contacting us from abroad you consent to that transfer. Residents of the European Union and similar jurisdictions have rights of access, correction, and deletion under local law; write to us and we will honor them.
